OnSSI’s Ocularis LS features comprehensive VMS and PSIM functionality for streaming, recording and managing an unlimited number of cameras. Designed for mobility without compromise, the Ocularis LS incorporates edge recording support for local recording on the camera in the absence of network connectivity, and automatic and seamless download of the recorded video when in range of the network. Ocularis LS provides comprehensive management and control of all video devices and recording servers from a centralized location with unlimited scalability. Its 64-bit architecture accommodates edge recording capability with automatic or flexible retrieval, configuration reports for document configuration settings and a system status monitor.
Designed for the protection of fence lines, open areas, gates, entryways and rooftop applications, the all-weather INTREPID MicroWave 330 offers a 1500 ft. detection range as well as robust programming, intrusion detection and remote management capabilities. Specialized detection algorithms continuously monitor alarm and tamper status, signal strength and detection parameters. Enhanced crawl and vehicle detection optimize probability of detection (pD), while unique Fresnel suppression algorithms successfully discriminate between intrusion attempts and environmental disturbances or other false targets, mitigating risk of site compromise while preventing nuisance alarms. The system’s superior K-band performance identifies slow-moving intruders and prevents interference from external radar or other microwave systems
Lenel Systems International Inc.
Developed by Lenel Systems International, goEntry 3.0 is a web-based access control solution with free iPad app and video integration. goEntry 3.0 is ideal for small- to medium-sized businesses and provides customers an entry-point solution that offers a future growth path to OnGuard. goEntry requires no server or additional software, and features installer and end-user wizards, device discovery, tool tips and help functions that enable customers to get up-and-running quickly and easily. An iPad app is available to help installers remotely administer or diagnose the system, while delivering on-the-go information to end users.
Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies
Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies introduces the aptiQmobile, a web-based key management system that lets near-field communications (NFC)-enable smartphones be used like a badge ID to gain access to buildings and other ID card applications. The process uses strong security standards to turn NFC-enabled smartphones into an access control credential, which allows users to enter a building with a smartphone instead of a traditional ID badge. All users have to do is download the aptiQmobile app. <@NPcompany name>Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies.
Genetec’s AutoVu Pay-by-Plate Sync feature offers an open-architecture approach that simplifies the process of creating an end-to-end pay-by-plate (PBP) solution, allowing customers to select and integrate different parking systems that are otherwise non-compatible such as parking and permit management systems, parking meters and pay-by-phone solutions. By acting as a central aggregating database, AutoVu uses the license plate number as the key identifier and works with a wide variety of parking permit types, including residential permits, university semester permits, employee permits and shared permits, as well as transient parking transactions from pay stations and pay-by-phone systems.
The VIZpin Access Control and Visitor Management Service uses cloud-based Smartphones to increase tenant convenience, productivity and security by allowing property managers to send VIZpin electronic keys to anyone who has downloaded the VIZpin app. The encrypted keys cannot be copied and are unique to a phone and ECKey Bluetooth reader.
Axis Communications introduces two
cost-effective video encoders that can serve small to medium-sized surveillance
installations. The AXIS M7016 Video Encoder provides full frame rate video, is
attractive, cost effective and features easy entry to network video. The AXIS
P7216 Video Encoder features full frame rate video, adds audio and I/O ports
and is equipped with a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) slot for use with
fiber optics. Each uses one single network port, which drives down cost and
port density of the surveillance system infrastructure.
Stanley Security Solutions
STANLEY Security adds the ES4 and ES5 to its already existing line of electrified locking solutions. The ES4 electric strike can fit 5/8” up to 3/4” latches with a 1/8” door gap and are latch position status standard, keeper closed and deadlocked/unlocked status standard, have field selectable voltage, have mounting tabs, are non-handed and have few moving parts. The ES5 has no centerline relocations, fit up to a 3/4” latchbolt and a 1” deadbolt, are field reversible, feature dual voltage, are ideal for new or retrofit construction and more.
The Super Weather Proof (SWP) padlocks can withstand the most severe weather conditions and environmental extremes. The padlocks are available in two styles—mechanical locks and electromechanical locks—that incorporate ASSA ABLOY’s CLIQ programmable electronic locking technologies for added security of electronic access control. They come with and without a weather seal cap and have an IP 68 rating, indicating a hermetic seal.
Axis Communications has entered the physical access control market with the introduction of the company’s first network door controller, the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller. The product is non-proprietary and features open IP-based access. It also features built-in web-based software and is ideal for small to mid-sized installations that have around 10 doors and basic access control requirements.
