3VR Enhances New Video Security Hardware Lineup With 3 Powerful NVRs

3VR, the video intelligence company, announced today the launch of the 1000, 3000 and 4000-series of hybrid and network video recorders (NVRs), adding three models to the company’s new line of video security hardware.

3VR Enhances New Video Security Hardware Lineup With 3 Powerful NVRsThe security video recorders are scalable enterprise solutions, with live video viewing, forensic search, case management on a single system, including the ability to easily add integrated analytics. Each model offers performance and price points to suit every need:

• 1000-series: Economical hybrid analog and IP camera solution with support for up to 16 cameras.

• 3000-series: Cost-effective desktop solution with support for up to 16 channels of analog or 48 IP cameras,

with plenty of power to run 3VR’s award-winning analytics.

• 4000-series: With support for RAID and JBOD configurations, and up to 32 analog and 48 IP cameras, this rackmount workhorse is designed for medium-sized installations.

“The technology has changed greatly over the past couple years, allowing us to offer more powerful hardware solutions at lower price points,” said Al Shipp, CEO of 3VR. “The new lineup introduces a wider range of hybrid NVRs that can interconnect and communicate on the same enterprise network, with higher camera counts and more storage.”

In addition to the 1000, 3000 and 4000-series, 3VR released the high-performance 5000-series in July 2013. The 5000/5500-series supports up to 48 analog and 128 IP cameras, RAID and JBOD configurations, and up to 16TB internal storage in a highly reliable rackmount solution.

The new line of 3VR security video recorders is designed for easy, out-of-the-box deployment and ships preloaded with 3VR VisionPoint VMS video management software.

When used in an enterprise environment, all 3VR recorders can communicate and share video, data, analytic reporting and cases, in addition to system and camera setup, and health monitoring. Video may also be viewed, managed and searched using 3VR’s Remote Client, VisionPoint Mobile, or locally using 3VR’s OpCenter.

All models come with a 3-year software and hardware warranty.

3VR integrates with POS, ATM, access control and other third-party data systems. Custom integration is also available.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.” 3
