Mike Seger has been the Director of Safety and Student Services at Penn-Harris-Madison (P-H-M) School Corporation since 2008. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Evansville in Criminal Justice and Security Management. P-H-M has over 10,500 students and includes eleven elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school along with three separate support services buildings. As the Director of Safety and Student  Services, Mike oversees safety and security programs, SRO program, legal settlement,  Safety and Security systems, McKinney –Vento homeless children and overall emergency management preparations. He has served on several local and national steering committees ranging from student careers to being a member of the U.S. Department of Education’s team updating the Safe School Initiative.  Mike has over 28 years of experience in the field of security and has worked with two different K12 school corporations in the areas of security and technology.
