The Super Weather Proof (SWP) padlocks can withstand the most severe weather conditions and environmental extremes. The padlocks are available in two styles—mechanical locks and electromechanical locks—that incorporate ASSA ABLOY’s CLIQ programmable electronic locking technologies for added security of electronic access control. They come with and without a weather seal cap and have an IP 68 rating, indicating a hermetic seal.
Sony Electronics Inc.
Sony Electronics announced the SNC-VB635 IP camera, featuring the IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing system. With its extraordinary light sensitivity and full HD resolution, the SNC-VB635 camera is designed for use in highly demanding applications such as transportation, city surveillance and energy. The SNC-VB635 is a fixed camera that features a half-inch Exmo CMOS sensor that generates exceptional picture quality even in very low-light conditions. Other key features include true day/night capabilities and an RS-485 external control.
Now available is the Schneider Electric Pelco High-Resolution Sarix TI Series Thermal Imaging (TI) IP cameras. Adding to its popular line of existing thermal imaging surveillance technologies known for creating high-quality and affordable thermal imaging with infrared detection, the cameras were built on the Sarix technology platform, and provide a digital end-to-end IP solution that allows for easy integration into a wide variety of third-party systems. The camera has longer detection, recognition and identification ranges that are up to twice as long as the mid-range model, making it ideal for the most demanding and critical security application.
TRU Vu Monitors Inc
TRU-VU monitors has released the SRM-10.4B-WRL video monitor for use in daylight. The monitor features a screen with 1,000 nits brightness, enabling the operator to see clear video images even in direct sunlight. The system—which features a rugged steel enclosure—is also designed to accept the weaker video signals typically found in wireless video systems. The device also doesn’t go into Sleep Mode, which provides the operator with uninterrupted control.
Designed for the protection of fence lines, open areas, gates, entryways and rooftop applications, the all-weather INTREPID MicroWave 330 offers a 1500 ft. detection range as well as robust programming, intrusion detection and remote management capabilities. Specialized detection algorithms continuously monitor alarm and tamper status, signal strength and detection parameters. Enhanced crawl and vehicle detection optimize probability of detection (pD), while unique Fresnel suppression algorithms successfully discriminate between intrusion attempts and environmental disturbances or other false targets, mitigating risk of site compromise while preventing nuisance alarms. The system’s superior K-band performance identifies slow-moving intruders and prevents interference from external radar or other microwave systems.
